Freeport, Texas
Our Freeport, Texas facility has been in operation since 1973. This location is easily accessible by rail and truck, or by barge or vessel through the Port of Freeport or Houston, and can accept material in bulk, bags, bins, drums and roll-off boxes. Here we can treat nickel/moly and cobalt/moly catalysts with or without vanadium, and our process produces technical- and chemical-grade (high-purity, high-solubility) molybdenum oxide, vanadium oxide, fused alumina and nickel/cobalt alloys.

Bear Metallurgical Company, Butler, Pennsylvania
Bear Metallurgical Company (BMC), located in Butler, Pennsylvania, is the only independent toll converter of ferrovanadium and ferromolybdenum in North America. BMC is ISO 9000 certified and has implemented the latest systems for Statistical Quality Control and Environmental Management Systems in its operations. This new acquisition helps assure the metals industry of a consistent supply of high-quality products backed by knowledgeable, customer-focused personnel.

Fort Saskatchewan Plant, Alberta, Canada
Our new plant in Alberta, Canada, is scheduled for completion by the second half of 2007. This facility can
pre-treat materials for final recovery of pure vanadium and molybdenum in addition to other valuable materials. Our decision to build a processing facility in Alberta’s Industrial Heartland is part of our ongoing effort to locate our facilities nearer to our customers. Alberta’s oil sands contain some of the largest petroleum reserves in the world, and our expansion into Canada positions us to take a leadership role in serving its oil refining industry.

European Operations
Our presence in Europe, where spent catalysts are collected for pre-treatment at SADACI (A Molymet Company), allows us to help the oil refining industry meet its initiatives toward sustainable development and renewable resources. This strategic partnership provides us with a third-party, value-added relationship with a corporation that has significant global influence and insight.
